You can request to attend an existing class, or request information about booking a group session. Class times are subject to change based on class sizes.

  • Adult & Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED

    The Adult and Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED course equips you with essential lifesaving skills tailored for all age groups. For those who require a Red Cross certification, this course is available hybrid or entirely in-person. This course is also available without a certification for parents, caregivers, and anyone who wants to be prepared for any emergency.

    Red Cross In-Person: $90,
    Red Cross Hybrid: $75,

  • Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED

    The Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED course provides lifesaving skills specifically for children and infants. Through hands-on training led by certified instructors, you'll learn the basics of how to respond to choking, sudden cardiac arrest, and other emergencies. No Red Cross certification is provided.

    Care Necessities:
    $40 per person

  • At-Home Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED

    The At-Home Pediatric CPR/First-Aid/AED course allows new parents and caregivers to receive fundamental training to handle emergencies for children and infants in the comfort of their homes. No Red Cross certification is provided.

FAQ

  • Submit Registration Information: After you submit your registration contact details, you’ll receive an email from the Red Cross with instructions to access the Red Cross Learning Center.

    Access Your Course: Follow the email instructions to create an account or log in to the Learning Center. Select your course and click the "Launch" button to begin the online portion.

    Complete Online Training: Access digital course materials in the "Materials" tab and complete the online modules at your own pace.

    Attend In-Person Session: Bring your certificate of completion from the online portion to the scheduled in-person training session. This session will focus on hands-on skill practice.

    Receive Your Certificate: After completing the in-person portion, you’ll receive an email with your Training Certificate.

  • No, you will be required to complete the skill practice on the mannequins for some portions of the class. You do not have to come in contact with any other students in the class if you are uncomfortable.  Modified versions of certain skill practices are provided to ensure everyone feels comfortable in class.

  • Red Cross certifications are valid for two years. To avoid a lapse in good standing, you must sign up for the same course before your expiration date.

  • No. These classes are for those who do not need a certificate, which employers often require. Care Necessities classes are ideal for families who just want a refresher or who want an overview of the basics to feel more confident about caring for their family members in emergency situations.
